Spicy Pretzels Are Delicious

Testing 1 2 3...

I tried this recipe for spicy pretzels last night,
..and I just got done making my second batch.
They are so so good!

It uses Hidden Valley ranch seasoning, cayenne, garlic powder, and lemon pepper (my favorite!)

*This recipe is easy make and to customize to your liking.

You mix up the seasonings with some canola oil, then let it sit and mellow in a gallon-size bag for a few hours..

Then you pop them in the oven for a little while, and woohoo!!
My pictures aren't corresponding, but that's okay! It was hard to take a picture because I was too busy eating them!!

Look at all those bits of flavor!!

Thanks for reading my very first post :)

What have I been up to?

Agh! It's been so long.. Let's see, I finished my junior semester, started working more hours, and have been battling several allergy symptoms for the last month.

~*Also, I came up with a great way to organize my lipsticks!*~

side note: I love getting my Birchbox each month!! Not only do I love getting the samples, but I am constantly using the boxes to store things. They are really sturdy and not too big, so I collect them like it's my job. They were my inspiration for this small project!

What you need:
the top or bottom of a small box (of course, I used my Birchbox!)
empty lipstick box (I used GloMinerals, but MAC would be great too)
glue (I used E-6000, but hot glue would also work)
X-Acto knife

Using the X-Acto knife, cut the lipstick box into three equal sections

Glue them together.
*I found that it was easier to glue them in sections of 3

Then, fit the cut up boxes into a larger box
My Birchbox fit these squares in perfectly

Ta-Da!! I still need to collect a few more lipstick boxes to complete my project, but I really do like it so far!!

TIPS:
I would make my little holders a wee bit taller than I did here.

This will work with any boxed lipstick because: if it came in the box, it will fit in the box! I just love it :)

Be really careful with the X-Acto knife. If you want, you can easily lay the lipstick box flat and cut it with scissors. Once it's all been assembled, it will get its shape back.

See you later!!
